What is the Cost of a car?

Your fare depends on the category/type of your Car – pick-up point, destination, the number of passengers and the time and day of travel. Please refer to the Price Calculator as a guide.
For most of the trips, we can quote a fixed, point-to-point rate. Here and there it’s more fitting to charge the rates on an event premise. We can cite on any trek crosswise over Melbourne or Regional Victoria.

Are there any Extras to pay?

We try and make our fares simple and transparent. Variations or extras to a straight point-to-point transfer fare include Child Seats, Larger car, Additional pick up points, International Pickups Waiting time if applicable and Melbourne Airport parking fees.

Additional surcharge of 15$ for international flights for airport pickup.
Baby seat/ booster seat- 15$
Extra stops (on the way) – 10$
Please note: Wait time for the first 10 mins is free: after that 1$ per min.

Special Event Bookings such as but not limited to “Grand Prix, Spring Carnival, New Year’s Eve, Christmas Day, Avalon Air Show, Australian Open and AFL Grand Final, Melbourne cup, Weddings, Tours, On hold bookings” will incur surcharge and pricing will be upon request.

How do I make a booking?

You can make a Booking Online – We do have an option to pay online or pay directly to the Driver. For Corporates and Regular Travellers, we can set up an account and provide invoices. Alternatively, you can contact our office by phone so that we can confirm your details or by text to 0423875043.

How do I pay?

We have an option to Pay online via Credit/ Debit Card / PayPal or Pay Directly to the Driver via Cash, Eftpos or Cabcharge. We accept all major cards & Cabcharge Cash, Money transfers & EFTPOS, Credit cards and PayPal.
Please note: 5% extra charges will be applicable to the payments made by credit card.


Do I need to Re-confirm?

There is no need to re-confirm but if it helps you get a better night’s sleep, we’re happy to hear from you. We will send you a text with the Car and Driver Details prior to your journey.

Will the driver help with luggage?

Your driver will cheerfully help you with gear, lashing children into their seats, holding an umbrella and whatever else that makes getting to and from less demanding.

Do you do Weddings?

Yes we do.

Do you track inbound flights?

We track flights and their landing times. Early or late we will know. Our drivers, for the most part, will remain in a terminal for up to 2 hours after touchdown. We work in a liberal holding up time and stopping expenses to our air terminal and port pickup rates. Our driver will leave in the event that we don’t get a notification from you following 2 hours. We will then charge for the exchange in view of absence. Naturally, should you require our driver to return after this time it will be dealt with as another adventure.

How do we find the driver after our flight arrival?

For all international arrivals drivers will meet their passengers as they exit from the customs hall inside the airport terminal ( T2 ) at chauffeur pickup area near Optus shop, the driver will be holding a personalized name sign.
For all Qantas domestic Arrivals, drivers will be waiting inside the terminal ( T1 ) with the personalized name sign next to the conveyor belt.
For all Virgin domestic Arrivals, drivers will be waiting inside the terminal ( T3 ) with the personalized name sign, as the passenger comes down the stairs.
For all Jet \ Tiger \ Rex domestic Arrivals drivers will be waiting inside the terminal ( T4 ) with the personalized name sign,  as the passenger comes down the escalator before the conveyor belt.
The airport can be exceptionally swarmed now and again, along these lines in the event that you can’t see your driver please call us on 0423875043 from any pay phone at the air terminal and we will find your driver for you.

Cancellation Policy for all Standard Bookings /Online Bookings / Airport Transfers
A cancellation more than 24 hours prior to scheduled booking – no charges incurred*.
A cancellation between two (2) and 24 hours prior to scheduled booking – 50% of total booking charged.
A cancellation less than two (2) hours prior to scheduled booking – 100% of total booking charged.

Cancellation Policy for all for all special events, concerts, sporting events, hourly bookings, Multiple Car Bookings and wedding reservations.
A cancellation more than 72 hours prior to scheduled booking – no charges incurred.
A cancellation between 24 and 72 hours prior to scheduled booking – 50% of total booking charged.
A cancellation less than 24 hours prior to scheduled booking – 100% of total booking charged.

Cancellation Policy for Stretch Limos – 15% of the total booking charged, if cancelled prior to 72 hours.

A Stretch Limo cancellation between 24 and 72 hours prior to scheduled booking – 50% of total booking charged.

A Stretch Limo cancellation less than 24 hours prior to scheduled booking – 100% of total booking charged.

 No Cancellations are processed for Overseas Bookings and International Student Transfers. 100% of the fee is charged.

What happens if I am running late?

Airport: We monitor arrival time for your flight. Please make sure you meet your driver after you have landed before collecting the baggage.
If you have further delays which won’t allow you to make contact, please call us at 0423875043 immediately.

Office/Home: Your driver will wait ten minutes past the booking time before contacting you, post which waiting time shall be charged at $1.00 per minute.

Can I make a booking over the phone after business hours / late night?

We do take calls 24 hours a day or you may make a booking online anytime, allowing up to 24 hours for the booking to be finalized. You will receive a confirmation email once the booking is completed and confirmed.

How soon can I book?

Chauffeur City online booking system will allow you to book 3months prior to your date of travel.

All As soon as possible (ASAP) bookings.

Chauffeur City online system will allow you to book 60mins prior to your travel time.  Anything less than 60 mins we advise you to call and book, so we can confirm and give you an eta of your driver, with rest of the details.
