GLOSSARY: AGENT – We, Us, Chauffeur City, Owner/s, Operator/s, Chauffeur/s, Driver/s. CLIENT/CUSTOMER – You, Your, Passenger, Guest also refers to any Individual/s or Company making the reservation and / or any representative/guest thereof.

RESERVATION CONFIRMATION: When a booking is made Online , Guests  will receive an email Confirmation from us . We will contact guests Via phone – if the payment option is selected – as Cash , Eftpos or Cab Charge to confirm the booking .

For all Prepaid Customers – Booking is confirmed instantly.

Our Team might contact you if they require any further information.

An SMS would be sent out to all Customers with the Car and Driver Details 30 mins prior to their Pick up Time.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation Policy for all Standard Bookings /Online Bookings / Airport Transfers

A cancellation more than 24 hours prior to scheduled booking – no charges incurred*.

A cancellation between two (2) and 24 hours prior to scheduled booking – 50% of total booking charged.

A cancellation less than two (2) hours prior to scheduled booking – 100% of total booking charged.

Cancellation Policy for all for all special events, concerts, sporting events, hourly bookings, Multiple Car Bookings and wedding reservations.

A cancellation more than 72 hours prior to scheduled booking – no charges incurred.

A cancellation between 24 and 72 hours prior to scheduled booking – 50% of total booking charged.

A cancellation less than 24 hours prior to scheduled booking – 100% of total booking charged.

 

No Cancellations are processed for Overseas Bookings and International Student Transfers. 100% of the fee is charged.

RESERVATION MODIFICATIONS: Once confirmed, the reservation fee will not change unless you change the details. Should you have a need to modify transport times, routes or dates – please advise prior to the event and where possible we will accommodate your requirements, however we cannot guarantee to be able to do so.

ADDITIONAL STOPS: Please contact our bookings department to inform us with notice of any additional stops. Additional stops will incur additional charges subject to the time and distance involved. 

 

NO SHOW: Our fee is strictly non-refundable if the passenger does not show at the nominated time and place. 

 

WAITING TIME: We will always endeavour to accommodate our clients who require excess time with our vehicles. Where possible, the vehicle will be made available for as long as possible after the specified period of your reservation. Waiting / over time will be charged in 15 minute increments as per our standard fees.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES: We will make every effort to get you to your destination safely, comfortable and on time. However, occasionally, allowances must be made for unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, road weather conditions, illness, vehicle breakdown etc. We cannot assume responsibility for circumstances beyond our control. Our company reserves the right to substitute vehicles of a similar category where necessary. Should there be a vehicle breakdown or mishap rendering the reserved vehicle out of commission, we reserve the right to substitute a vehicle / vehicles. We will make every effort to supply an alternative vehicle. Should we be unable to provide an alternative vehicle, a pro rata refund will be made.

CHILD SEATS:  All children under seven years of age must be secured in a child restraint or booster seat when travelling in a vehicle. Please notify us immediately if a child seat is required.

LIMITS OF LIABILITIES: In all cases, Chauffeur City owners, operators and chauffeurs / driver’s maximum liability shall be limited to a full refund paid pertaining only to the trip in question. In every case, Chauffeur City will not be liable, whether in tort, in contract or otherwise for any accident, delay, injury, irregularity, loss or damage to persons or property of any kind whatsoever and howsoever arising (included but not limited to any negligence or breach of contract by Chauffeur City) caused or included during, or in relation to the carriage of any passenger or provisions of services. All care will be taken by us, but no liability will be assumed. No claim for Liquidated Damages, Consequential Loss, or any other shall be admissible. The above provision shall be read subject to any implied terms, conditions or warranties imposed by the Trade Practices Act 1974 or any other Commonwealth or State legislation in so far as such may be applicable and prevent either expressly or implied exclusion or modification of any such term, condition or warranty.

VEHICLE DAMAGE & BAD BEHAVIOUR: If you or any person or part of your party damage or soil our vehicle, interior or exterior, including all fittings and fixtures, you will be liable for all costs incurred to rectify said damage. If you are any person or part of your party behave in a manner deemed unsafe, crass or damaging to any part of your party is considered intoxicated, before, after or whilst en route, we reserve the right to terminate your reservation and evict you from the vehicle. No refund will apply. Seat belts must be worn at all times. It is prohibited & illegal to stand outside sunroofs. Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond seating capacity.

SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited in our vehicles.

ALCOHOL & ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES / MATERIALS: Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed on route by persons over the age of 18 and where full responsibility is assumed by the passenger/s. We will not be held responsible nor liable for you or any part of your party consuming alcohol nor the consequences that may ensue. All alcohol consumption is your responsibility and at your own risk and you alone shall assume full liability. All illegal materials and substances are strictly prohibited from our vehicles.
